Extreme Power System!

How Dave lost 30 lbs in less than 13 weeks.

   1. Belieeeeeeeeeeeeve!!!!
      If you don't believe you can lose the weight you never will.  This seems extremely basic, but it's the most important part of the Extreme Power System.  Dave didn't start the process until he knew 100% that he was ready to do it and ready to succeed at it.

   2. Combinations
      Carbs are not your enemy with The Extreme Power System.  Make sure, if you're going to eat some carbs, you don't eat anything for 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after you eat them.

   3. Drink
      Dave starts every morning with two giant glasses of water. Dave also had a very cold glass of water before every meal.  He would also have a big glass of water right before going to bed each night.

   4. Eggs
      Every morning Dave starts his day with 2 eggs.  The theory is that eggs keep you satisfied for much longer than most other foods.  If you do this you are much more likely to be able to make it until your next meal without having cravings in between.

   5. Five
      Simple to remember #5 is 5.  Don't go ANY LONGER than 5 hours without having "something" to eat.  If you do, your cravings will be overwhelming and might cause you to eat too much or the wrong things.  Desperation sets in and you might do something crazy.

   6. Guilt
      Things are going to happen in your life that will cause a deviation from The Extreme Power System....  don't feel guilty when you do.  Too many people will beat themselves up for failiing.  It's not a failure with EPS!  If it's your best friends birthday... EAT CAKE and ENJOY IT! Don't feel guilty, but when you're done, get right back on track again and don't look back.  Also, look forward to those special events and get excited about eating some things you normally wouldn't eat.

   7. Health
      The Extreme Power System has extreme results but doesn't require you to take extreme measures to get there.  All carbs, all protiens, diet shakes or any other diet that requires you to do something unhealthy will not work.  If you're looking at something healthy on your plate... EAT IT!

   8. Improvement
      Very closely linked to "Belieeeeeeeeeve".  Setup little checkpoints along the way and then celebrate those small victories. Every egg becomes a party and each glass of water is another goal you've hit.  You're on your way to a life of living instead of dieting.

   9. Junk
      Junk food is not good for you!  Ok, that seems a little obvious, but cutting out the junk food we eat all too often can have a dramatic impact on your weight loss.  Replace the junk with something you enjoy.  If you absolutely MUST have something you shouldn't, never have it after 8:00pm.  This will give you plenty of time to burn off the extra calories.

  10. Kitchen
      As in ... STAY OUT OF... the Kitchen.  Dave noticed that the more time he spent in the kitchen... the more likely he was to crave some food(s) he didn't need.  Too much temptation in the kitchen.

  11. Activity
      There's really no getting around it.  You have to be a little more active.
      That doesn't mean you have to go run 5 miles a day, but if you can do just
      one little thing every day that will make a big difference.  The seasons
      really helped Dave here.  He played golf once or twice a week... he mowed
      the lawn once or twice a week... he walked to the store a few times ...etc.
      You get the idea.
